Vitor Schmid

Founding Team

Vitor led Maple Bear’s operations in Latin America, driving the network to four-digit growth during the pandemic and receiving the ABF/Apex Internationalization Award. He also served as Global Director at Pearson in New York, where he was responsible for reallocating strategic investments across more than 70 countries based on statistical models and market intelligence. Prior to that, he headed Market Intelligence at Pearson Brazil during the peak expansion cycle of the Wizard and Yázigi brands.
An economist from USP with an MBA in Data Science & Analytics, he combines strategic vision, technical expertise, and franchising experience to support critical territorial decisions.

Rafael Tiba

Founding Team

Rafael is an executive and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in technology, data, and innovation, having led projects in 11 countries and generated more than US$45 million in financial impact for over 30 companies. He served as CEO of a growing technology company, driving organizational transformation and growth in digital solutions with AI and data, as well as COO in the corporate events sector and quality systems specialist at Johnson & Johnson.

An engineer with a master’s degree and executive education from Harvard Business School, he is a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, ISO Lead Auditor, and Data Science specialist. He combines strategic vision, analytical excellence, and data-driven leadership to support critical business decisions.

Fabio Scarela

Founding Team

Fábio has over 12 years of experience in geomarketing and territorial intelligence, supporting major brands such as Maple Bear, Mundo Verde, Burger King, Grupo SEB, and Pearson in their expansion plans. He has developed strategies based on geospatial data, performance indicators, and statistical analyses applied to territory and site selection.
With a degree in Computer Science, he has built a solid career applying market intelligence and geographic analysis to decision-making.
